Many of us may know the significance of May 8th  , it is Victory in Europe Day (V-E Day).  This day commemorates the end  of fighting in Europe during World War II.   Miraculously,
after years of war, the Third Reich of Nazi Germany was defeated.  Millions of people were killed. Adolf Hitler, Germany’s Dictator, had committed suicide in his bunker in Berlin.  The war was over.
Did you Know? The original planned date for the celebration of V-E Day, was May 9th, 1945. But, journalists caught wind of the plans. So, the U.S. and Britain moved the date up by a day to May 8th. Russia kept to the original planned date for May 9th. Russia still celebrates V-E Day on May 9th.
As time passes, the number of WWII veterans is decreasing.  Initially 16 million veterans served our nation in World War II.  In the Prescott, Arizona community, veterans have numerous resources for assistance and information.  The Prescott Veterans Resource Center at 240 S. Montezuma Street #101 is one resource that has a wealth of information.  Veterans Resource Centers  Veterans can contact them at (928) 776-0766.
USA Real Estate and Property Management is another trusted source for help for the veterans.  Using their knowledge, experience, and resources, the USA team aids veterans with their housing options.  Give the team a call at (928) 775-0400 to learn about the real estate options in the Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and Dewey-Humboldt area.
The USA Real Estate team wants to thank all of our veterans – we appreciate you!  If you see a Veteran today acknowledge them in some way…maybe with a smile, a nod or simply saying ‘thank you” for their service.
